New Brakes Hard Like Diamond

When it comes to performance vehicles in the Chandler and Phoenix area there is no ignoring a Porsche. One of the reasons that Porsche continues to outpace the rest of the performance market is due to their extensive investment in technology. The new Porsche Surface Coated Brake (PSCB) is a product of the Porsche commitment to performance and will debut on the new Cayenne Turbo. These brakes take the advantages of ceramic brakes and deliver performance at a fraction of the cost.

PSCB will be a standard feature on the new Porsche Cayenne Turbo and will establish itself as a worldwide first. The surface of the brake consists of tungsten carbide, when mixed tungsten and carbon form a crystal hard enough to cut glass. In fact, tungsten carbide is one of the hardest materials after diamond. The greatest advantages of the PSCB will be the reduction of brake dust, slower wear, decreased cost, and elimination of rust. We are excited to see the implementation of this new technology in the Porsche Cayenne Turbo in Scottsdale, Tempe, and Mesa!
